from refugee, to a sustainable business owner

Ooh La La’s Philosophy

Ooh La La’s “American Dream” story begins in 1992 when our Armenian family of four was resettled to, of all places on Earth . . .to Twin Falls, Idaho! Prior to our family being displaced by the war and ethnic killing in Azerbaijan, both my designer Grandmother and Mama had careers in a fashion atelier. In 2007, my sustainable fashion love affair was sparked, it manifested into Ooh La La Boutique. Conscious of the social, environmental and health impact of fast fashion, I chose to align our spiritual values with a business vision to honor sacred Mother Earth through minimizing fashion waste. Together with you, for over 17 years now we have saved the planet one recycled garment at a time.

Our passion opens our space up to like-minded fashion, creators, jewelers, small and large scale makers who too believe in a co-operative, responsible relationship between business, community and environment. Ooh La La is an evolving boutique that provides quality, one-of-a-kind-find, adorable and affordable clothing, revived vintage, formals, artisan jewelry, local art, books and many unique, distinctive, earth friendly treasures. Thank you for having a sustainability love affair with Ooh La La Boutique from all over the world.
